About you:

  • Engineering,/Technical Degree or Technical Experience
  • Sales experience of technical products to industrial (oil/gas, utility power, refineries as examples) market
  • The kind of person that knows how to fix it him/herself. “It” might be your car, your home plumbing or your appliances.
  • Self starter/driven. We’re not big on reports, databases or having you document that you’re doing your job. The sales numbers will show that.

About the job:

Winn-Marion Barber, LLC is seeking qualified applicants for our Gillette, WY Outside Technical Sales position to help with selling Instrumentation, Controls, Valves, Automation & Service. Sales Reps are responsible for creating new business sales, marketing, territory management, product demonstration, and hitting sales goals. Must provide customers with technical product support.

Candidates must have a college degree, technical degree, or technical experience. Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience with demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, as well as, good presentation skills. Candidates must be driven and able to work independently.

Computer skills with MS Windows, Office, Outlook, and the Internet. Good mechanical aptitude and industry knowledge a plus. Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel to various locations within territory.

Winn-Marion Barber has an opening for an Inside Salesperson with experience in instrumentation and controls for our Centennial, CO office.


The ideal candidate should have a college degree, technical degree, or have technical/mechanical experience.  Strong communication skills is required, as well as, 1-3 years of prior sales experience or relevant training in Inside Sales.  Candidate must also have proficient computer skills with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet searching.


The Inside Salesperson provides excellent customer service by answering all sales calls in a timely manner, processing all orders, and assisting customers with product questions, quotes, and changes.  Must work closely with Sales personnel and the Purchasing Manager and maintain knowledge of company products and their applications.  Inside Sales personnel need to be able to sit at a computer station for extended periods, perform general office activities of copying, faxing, filing, and phone use, and occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
