Application: Complete Turnkey Natural Gas Wellhead Automation

Description: Plunger Lifts are used to increase gas production by keeping liquids off the formation. Generally speaking, it is means of deliquification.  It allows wells to continue production long past the point where they can no longer produce fluids up the well bore on their own.

Solution: WM Automation Service, LLC provides turnkey supply and installation of ABB Totalflow’s proven X-Series technology with adaptive algorithms for optimal cycling of the plunger.  Pumpers or Operators can simply make manual adjustments via the optional keypad or the unit can be configured for auto-tuning to optimize the well’s performance.  Associated instruments, as shown, are also installed as part of this turnkey automation.

Winn-Marion's expertise and the flexibility of the X-Series provides for the use of many different configurations, including:

• Wireless communication from the separator to the wellhead to avoid trenching
• Multiple wells controlled by a single RTU
  1. Scheduler allows multiple wells to use one separator & meter run
  2. Safety system shuts in all wells preventing spills
• Remote configuration and control via SCADA communications
• Totalflow’s X-Series technology allows for expandable IO to measure additional points of interest:
