APPLICATION: Turbine Retrofit - Upgrade Old Analog Control

DESCRIPTION: 250 MW Utility Plant had 1970's vintage Woodward Controls on BFWP Turbine

SOLUTION:Winn-Marion Barber, LLP replaced existing 43027 Woodward Analog Control with a Woodward 505 Digital Control. The opeerator panel was updated with a touchscreen HMI and a triple-redundant overspeed protection ProTech 203 was included in the upgrade. The new system provides more accurate control without the requirement for periodic calibration.
